It was alway said that the offense performed better in practice. How was Ty supposed to know his offense sucked. Without a pass rush affecting his QB, and letting the receivers run wild, maybe our offense looked really good in Fall camp. It wasn't until a few games in until Ty really started to understand his O wasn't working. He started to make adjustment, and I felt like the O was getting slightly better (with a big back step against UMASS).
Ty didn't have time learn and make adjustments. I wish he were given 1 more season. He would know that his previous O sucked big time, and he would have a full offseason to implement something better. Last year, he still thought his O would do well, and going against our D, there was no reason to question that it wouldn't and make changes.
