Not meaning to be super critical of Ty or even the players, but the only games our O looked good was against SJSU and UNLV. And even then I wouldn't say that they were really consistently clicking still, I think it had more to do with level of competition we faced. You could make the case that Critchlow looked good against UNLV (literally, that game only) but that could have had more to do with the defense not knowing him and respecting his running ability.
My point is that I'd be careful in thinking that a few good plays in a couple of games indicated a working offense. Maybe they looked great because it was like finding an oasis in the desert. The O was so bad at times that even a mere 5 yd gain or a simple completed pass for a 1st down beemed so bright.
