The reasons at this point are moot, but are whatever they are.

I want him to succeed for BYU's sake, unlike other coaches who I have rooted for because I like/d them regardless of the team they coached (Lavell, Bronco, Andy Reid, Chuckie days Gruden, Schottenheimer, pre-scandal Paterno, Whitey Herzog, a few others),

While I don't have a resentful desire to see him to fail, I also wouldn't care if he left the program either.

Having said that, he can change how I feel in only one way. Win.

You never know how good teams will be year to year, but if things play out as expected:

10-2 as follows makes me a KS fan. 9-3 with a loss to a good UA, Cal or BS helps his cause.
