The WAC was 20 years ago. Our schedules in the WAC have no bearing on today’s reality

But even then, here’s our home schedule in 1998. Our last WAC schedule.

ASU
Murray St
UNLV
San Jose St
San Diego St
New Mexico

More of the same except for that high water mark of ASU.

Sacrificing 6 or 7 great games a year for the off chance of 1 is illogical at best. Bowl games outside of the playoff are all the same and the fan base would wither and die with a steady diet of mwc schedules and construction cam feeds.

No. But we didn't have those kind of games every year. If we could get those kind of pre conference games every year
