I don't agree at all. College football is very different today than it use to be
A couple things have helped us schedule so many P5 teams recently:
1) ESPN is our partner
2) P5 conferences are requiring P5 out of conference games, and BYU currently counts as P5. That won't be the case if we join a G5 conference.
Even if what you say is true, you're proposing that we have the exact same quality schedule we have now. 2-4 P5 with Wyoming type schools to finish the year. And, you're suggesting we do it for less money by joining a conference.

We're not going anywhere but down until we start winning, and joining the MWC isn't going to change that.
