It’s awesome. Do I wish I made more? Sure. But 5 years in
With benefits and retirement I have the equivalent of a 85k a year job. I get all the school holidays plus summers off. I coach football so most of my summer is shot with football but it keeps me busy for a few hours a day and I love it. In season I get home around 5:30 which isn’t bad. Then I give up Friday nights for 12 or so weeks. So there are some time sacrifices involved.
Sure I could go do something that paid more, but it would take a lot to give up the time I get to spend with my family; which is honestly priceless to me.
