Seems odd as I don’t know what they want, 30% 40%? The teachers I talked to will all go back to work in a week because they don’t want to not get paid so they are fine with delaying graduation a week or so to push for a larger raise. Something about giving 30-40% raises to any state funded job seems excessive from a tax payer standpoint. But I don’t blame them for trying, they don’t want to have to work during the summers so the increase would eliminate that for most of them.
