Rhondo was working on Cotton Bowl invite well in advance
While attending the 96 game @ Tulsa, a few of us waited for the crowd to leave so we could chat to Rhondo. He told us to keep the info private because it isn't intended to be public.....but if BYU wins out they would be playing in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. IMO, Rhondo was a forward thinker and persued opportunities for BYU.....didn't sit back and let things slip by. Today's AD seems to do the opposite....quite disappointing. Opportunities lost.
