agenda and point of view and were actually attempting to objectively report on the news and play the role of the 'fourth estate', they might have a more sustainable role in society.

I honestly have very little use for them in my life because it has all become propaganda for a political point of view (and this is true across the entire political spectrum... with neither 'side' being better than the other).

The concept of the Fourth Estate watchdog has great purpose and meaning. Sadly, there is really no person or organization that is playing that role today.
