Most journalists, however, use the “I’m being objective” or “im challenging power” guise to be very cynical about anything they disagree with. They then lose almost all objectivity, and as a result, credibility.

I am not saying this about Drew, just speaking about many journalists in general. I believe they drive a lot of cynicism and secularism that is so prevalent today.

I liked Jay Drew’s work and am sorry to see him let go. I hope he gets an even better opportunity somewhere else.
