Gotcha. Being that far from a team would be tough to be passionate
Its just funny because I have some English friends that follow scrub teams that are in like the 3rd, 4th, and 5th division super passionately. They would get their butts kicked by any MLS team, but they follow it because it's their team. This is certainly a regional thing though.
We lived 8 hours away from Salt Lake but followed RSL super passionate because of our Utah ties. Now we live in St George and we go to the DSU men's soccer games, almost every home game. It's not the best quality soccer, but it is our local team collegiately so we love to go.
