doesn't mean he is one. Bronson could go either way. The skill set of our best 3-4 ends have fit what you want from 4-3 guys. We've loaded up with 4-3 guys up front the last few years. And while Bronco was recruiting guys like Kaufusi and Leiataua and Tafua, their skill set fits with a 4-3. Utah's DE's over the years have all been in OUR recruiting pool. They go elsewhere for DBs and even LBs, but not up front. If a lineman wants to go pro, why is he going to come play in BYU's 3-4? It's a matter of preference and focus. Some rush ends end up LBs anyway, which doesn't matter because they were very good ends in college when it mattered. Pita Taumoepenu should have been a BYU guy. He made a great DE for Utah and went pro as a LB, but he fit at Utah. Tafua probably would have been a LB but now he's a DE. Leiataua likely would have been a DE regardless and but he's not as suited for a 3-4 end.

It's completely silly to suggest that kind of player isn't in BYU's pool. When is the last time you looked at the Poly's they recruit? You're the last person who should be on board with such a silly idea on CB.

I'm asking you what is it that makes you think the front 4 across the line are not a part of the kind of player BYU can get? What exactly is this type not in the pool?
