People like to tiptoe around issues involving race, but the fact is that the vast majority of starting 4-3 Edges in the NFL are black, as are the Corners. Its not racist to acknowledge this, its a verifiable fact. Edges are freak athletes who win one on one matchups to pressure QBs. Just like Corners are freak athletes who win one on one matchups on the outside. Top end speed has a lot to do with success at both of those positions. And, NEWS FLASH, BYU is not a top school for many elite black athletes.

And I love that you bring up the Poly recruiting pool. Just like white guys, most Poly Dlinemen don't play Edge in the NFL. They become 3-4 DEs, DTs, or NTs at the next level. And you're right, Pita T should've been an OLB for BYU, just like he ultimately became in the NFL. He is not a 4-3 Edge.
