I don't think anyone is giving the hard time for being depressed. He is taking heat because of his performance on the field. He looks atrocious last year. He was the leader of the worst BYU O in 50 years. He didn't appear to have any passion or fire. He didn't look like a leader out there. There is a clear difference between guys like Hall and Collie and guys like Mangum. Hall was and killer. He didn't just want to win, he needed it. And he he wanted to punish people. I don't see that quality in Mangum. That has nothing to do with Tanners mental health issues. Zero. It's simply a personality thing.
