Absolutely agree with this take. 6 wins against the 2018 schedule is the floor.
But only 6 wins would be extremely mediocre and leave most frustrated.
If BYU can't beat McNeese State, Hawaii, New Mexico State, UMass and 2 others - out of Utah State, Northern Illinois, Cal, Arizona, Boise State, and Utah - then we are performing at a pretty awful level.
This year, the transfers are playing, and we have a senior quarterback. No excuse to not get at least ONE P5 win (out of 5) and beat 5 out of 7 of the rest of the schedule.
FWIW, I think we get to 6 wins pretty safely this year - which is why if we don't, jobs should be lost and big changes must be made.
