Looking forward to the 2019 roster and beyond, we aren't lacking for solid recruits. Everyone listed below was at least a 3-star recruit.  

QB - Wilson, Conner, and Hall. Conover (fingers crossed) is a 4-star guy.

RB - Burt, Finau. It would be huge to get Ula back.

WR - Hifo, Davis, Shumway, Romney. Gunter and Roberts will add to this group.

TE - Bushman, Holker. Our TE pipeline is stacked - Pilimai, Rex, Hanshaw, Pulsipher. Tuipulotu, due back for 2020.

Oline - Empey (transfer), Hoge (transfer), Shoaf, Longson, Saleapaga. So are Chambers, Smith, Tai. Gunderson and Unutoa joins next year. Barrington and Pay join 2020.

Dline - Mounga, Dawe, Tei-Kirby (transfer), Fevaleaki. Tuifua is a 4-star guy. Pili, D. Kaufusi, Leiataua. We have a bunch more solid recruits that should continue the solid dline play - Nacua, Tofa, Livai, Batty, Alatini, Maile, etc.

LB - Funa, J. Kaufusi, Pili, Latu, Bywater. Add Daley and Fiatoa next year. Matua, Tausinga, Nasilai join in 2020. Our weakness here next year will be experience.

S - Warner is a 4-star guy. Austin Lee (transfer) and Lake. Add Tooley, Jensen, Hanneman. Ah You will be back for 2020.

CB - This is probably our weakest area - Ellis and Langi...not sure on the status of McChesney.

BYU does recruit a lot of 2-star guys, which brings down our recruiting ranking...but the majority of 2-star guys don't contribute or play much. The CBs, FBs, and Tonga and Katoa are exceptions.
