If that attribute was limited to only Bronco as a HC then I think you have an
argument, but this happens often.
Some players don't do well in practice but shine in a game. Look at Alvin Kamera for example, he didn't even start at Tennessee. Things like this happen with EVERY college football program in the country. Coaches are human and make mistakes, it happens.
Bronco also developed and retained KVN for which he should get equal credit.
