What's the worst bonus you've ever received from an employer.
"Nothing" or "no bonus" doesn't count.
My worst was probably a $10 gift certificate to Smith's grocery store.

Do you deduct the cost of your student loans from tithing?
JOPE
12/10/18 4:08pm
If I went down that rabbit hole I could justify deducting nearly everything from tithing
SuperTank
12/10/18 4:25pm
Interesting. Would you have deducted tuition, fees, textbooks, etc if you didn’t need loans?
rainorsnow
12/10/18 4:31pm
Why would somebody like you, or anyone else that makes decent income pay tithing on gross
JOPE

He didn’t pay 16x what you would have.

12/10/18 6:37pm
If you get a tax refund after filing, do you pay tithing on your refund? If you owe, do you “subtract” tithing?
rainorsnow
12/10/18 3:49pm
sure, if I get a refund it is usually
JOPE
12/10/18 3:56pm
also, if I have to pay at the end of the year, which I often do

If you think that the only reason to pay tithing is to buy your way into heaven,
Skeptical Optimist
12/10/18 3:52pm
I know what tithing is, but why pay so much more than you have to?
JOPE

If you think it is something that you "have" to pay, then you don't understand
Skeptical Optimist
12/10/18 4:07pm
Of course you have to pay it
