I wonder why my next mortgage payment says $6.01 due
and doesn't add another $25 for the "payoff fee". If people make 360 equal payments for their mortgage, would their last payment add a $25 fee? They haven't asked for a reconveyance fee, and I am not paying it if they don't bill me for it.
