There is absolutely no scenario - in 2011, 2014 or in 2023 - in which the

Big12 or any other P5 conference will accept BYU as a full member the way things were and are currently configured. None.

To blame Tom Holmoe or anyone within the BYU Administration is silly and shortsighted and a waste of time.
