Gary Andersen was recruiting Cooper this entire fall at Utah, but the OC didn’t think Coop fit their offense.
Cooper was the first offer Gary made when he got the job at Utah St.
Chip Kelly has called Cooper a few times this week and plans to offer him during his trip to UCLA in January.
I don’t want to say much about the BYU thing. My older boy, Gunnar, is super excited to compete this spring and is excited to be a Cougar!
Cooper has had numerous schools contact him this week.
He is very interested in playing for Gary.
He also likes the idea of helping turn things around for UCLA.

BYU wants him to play safety. He wants to play QB. I'd assume he goes to Utah State. Tho they just signed 3 star qb.
