I suppose if all you are looking at is that they signed those local kids at the end of the day then you can question what I said. But if you know some of the details, which some on here do know, then you realize BYU does a poor job recruiting local kids regardless of whether or not they get some of them in the end. Remember there are kids who will go to BYU no matter what.
