Since we're both working off anecdotal evidence
And drawing different conclusions. The truth is probably somewhere in between.
As the world grows smaller I suspect the foreign path will become increasingly popular. My friend told me that there are 3 types of guys that end up on romance tours: 1) the guys doing sex tourism, 2) the guys with a lot to offer marriage motivated who have options in their own country and 3) the guys with little to offer and are unwanted by women in their own country. I am quite certain that the guys I know are in the 2nd group, even the two that are really rough around the edges.

I’m not sure 200+ counts as anecdotal but I don’t doubt there are some normal ones. It’s rare though
