I honestly think P5 would make a lot of this go away. I think we'd win the
recruiting battle much more often against Utah if P5 status were taken out of the equation.
Utah would tell recruits "You get to play at USC, Stanford, etc..."
BYU tells recruits "Yeah, but here you get to play at Oklahoma, Texas, Ok St. etc.."
I honestly do think it would make a huge difference with those reasons.

Puka Nacua is a glaring example of why byu’s Non P5 status is a huge hurdle to overcome particularly with recruiting.

BYU has thrown and will throw more than Utah and yet everything points toward Utah being higher on his list.
