guys that want to play for BYU, no matter what. I responded to the person saying "Puka belongs at BYU" and should go there because if he went elsewhere "millions of BYU fans won't ever see him play and wouldn't care anyway. Why in teh world would Puka do that."

My point was that all of that logic only makes sense if he wants to go to BYU but is getting swayed by the allure of other programs, and presupposes he even wants to go to BYU in the first place. Yes, I agree with you that some guys just want to play for BYU. Clearly. In fact, that's been BYU's big advantage over Utah for a long time. Utah's never getting a 5-star recruit, and almost never got 4-star guys, especailly before the last few years. BYU would get some due to this reason. I was pointing out to the OP that Puka may not be one of these guys in the first place, which is what his whole argument assumed.
