He's a WR that wants the football. The biggest strike against BYU right now is
that they don't throw the ball enough. They seem to have turned a little corner, there's not a better long term QB situation in the bunch he is picking from than Zach Wilson and BYU in terms of talent.....but that doesn't change the fact that guys at BYU were catching 18-29 balls/ this year....while the top 100 NCAA WRs get high 50's - 100 for the most part. Matt Bushman shouldn't be topping out at 29 catches. Dylan Collie shouldn't be 50% off his best college season. Talon Shumway shouldn't only have 20 grabs when he is averaging 15/yards catch. We have to fix that or get rid whoever is preventing that.
That's why I like Chase Roberts and Romney so much. They like BYU enough to overlook all that in the present. But we shouldn't continue to expect that if we have guys like them and Matt Bushman and continue to only throw them 20 balls/year.

Puka Nacua is a glaring example of why byu’s Non P5 status is a huge hurdle to overcome particularly with recruiting.
