It was 1514 participants and only 24%,295 in 4 yesrs
Reported using mj for pain. It could have been only 1 time use by all 295.
The study was self reporting questionaores. The frequency of use wasnt reported and thus important not of information to know for the 24%,who reported using mj for pain at some point within those 4 years.

Hardly a large study of mj pain management when less than 300 people used mj at any time for pain..
What this study doess state is
Better research needs to be done in clinical trials.

Which we already knew.

It does tell us that those people who reported using mj for pain reported little to no impact on decreasing opiod use and lessening pain.
