There are some that stand out, and they are gems

Since you are in St George, I'll say this. St George is full of Mexican restaurants - sometimes seems like that's all there really is for sit-down service. And yes, they are all about the same. I do like Casa Dona Maria best, mostly because of their green sauce.

You mean US tex-mex. Because there is a lot of variability in Mexican cooking and restaurants.
