you're referring to Robertos. There are many True Mexican places to go to in
the San Diego area. Soent my whole life there. You know it's real when there is a line of illegals out the door at lunch time.

San Diego/Cali mex is great but it's not true Mexican. Neither is Tex-Mex. Luckily I love all three types

In the US I think you're right. I do prefer Ameri/Cali/Tex ified versions to "authentic" here. Real stuff in Mexico city
