This part of the thread is specifically addressing potential *faculty*
As a professor, why would I care if students are looking for a quality undergrad education? (This is not to say I do not, but it's not how one chooses a job).

Say as much as we want about how BYU-Idaho is just as good of an undergrad school as BYU, equivalent education, blah, blah, blah. I'm not looking at BYU-Idaho from the perspective of a student. As potential faculty, there is no way in heck I would currently pursue a position with BYU-Idaho.
