I think basketball will be an easier fix than football.

Get a new coach in at basketball and BYU could become relevant again. Relevancy is easier to obtain in basketball. Mid majors gain attention every year.

Football is a different story. If you do not have a seat at the big boy table, you are de facto irrelevant. And we have losing streaks to both in state programs in football. We still are at least beating USU and UU in basketball.
