BYU has in recruiting, is the HC, it's talent, not coaching. You want proof, I give you the last 50 years of BYU basketball. BYU has made the sweet 16 twice. and both times it took having the player of the year in college basketball. Ainege's team had 3 future NBA players, and still could not get past the the elite 8. Imagine Jimmer's team with Davies, and Michael Lloyd, but HC causalities. So does that mean for 50 years, BYU has not had a good b-ball coach? The AD sucked, and kept hiring the wrong coach for 50 years?? BYU is THAT lame at hiring coaches??
What the crap do you expect from BYU basketball? People act like the right coach will get BYU basketball back to it's old days. Back to where? winning the MWC? the WAC? but doing nothing in the big dance? Back to the glory days of
one-and-done? The HC will keep any coach from getting the right athletic players needed to get BYU to the next level.
