How does admitting an "unqualified jock" compromise anything?
You let the kid into whatever program he wants, he plays out his last year of eligibility, he drops out and moves on with his life.
That's how these things work.
How in the world that materially compromises anything is a mystery to me. He'll literally be in the program one semester. He just has to do the bare minimum to stay eligible that semester. That's it.
