Can't agree with Jaime
He's always been in love with his twin. As he said last week, he has done horrible things to be with her. So it seems natural that he would go back to her — not to defend her as queen but merely to be with her at what was likely the end, and try and run away with her.

They made certain story lines and character's arc's meaningless, arc's and story lines that had been built for years.
