When you spend 7 plus seasons building a narrative and a story for characters and then change it in the last two epsiode
It is going to upset a lot of people. It would be like watching 24 and Jack Bauer time and again saves the country for nothing other than a thank you, and then in season 8 in the middle of the season he betrays the country for money.
I am sure fans of 24 would be ok with that too right?

They made certain story lines and character's arc's meaningless, arc's and story lines that had been built for years.
