her crazy trajectory is where more episodes would have been most useful.
No single thing made her lose it. It’s the loss of a few key advisors, yes, and a close friend, and feeling like no one in the north liked her, and feeling betrayed. All of those things.
But then more than anything learning about Jon and fearing that all her work and her belief that she’s the chosen one was for nothing.
If you take all of those things and space them out over a full season, then end with her going nuts and killing everyone, it would make perfect sense.
Which is to say - where she landed makes sense. They just should have spent more time getting there.

They made certain story lines and character's arc's meaningless, arc's and story lines that had been built for years.
