And his actions at that point were a betrayal.
My view is tainted by the books, when he doesn’t ever rape her or sleep with her in the King’s Guard chambers and is totally over her, but even in the show it’s bad writing.

They made certain story lines and character's arc's meaningless, arc's and story lines that had been built for years.
