Not according to British Journal of Sports Med

The International journal of sports physical therapy and JAMA also discuss running related Injury (RRI).

The info is out there. Not saying it’s bad, just be cautious. Novice, preexisting injury (possibly occult injury), obese or overweight may be risk factors. Taken into account, it’s not completely honest to give a blanket “go ahead” without sharing the risks and alternatives. This is just my quick take after a brief sampling of the data. There’s also good data showing no risk but it’s important to note that those studies may or may not take the above risk factors into account. So is it clear? I don’t know—in part bc I lack data to decide.

But I think we’d both agree, if somebody loves running, then that’s something they’ll maintain so probably worth the risks.

Also, disclaimer, I’m no expert.
