The kid may be nice, I like American Fork, it has a nice canyon and a good golf
course.. However, this kid did not make the top 50 recruits in the State of Utah and had ZERO offers from other D1 schools....
BYU has a losing record the past 2 years and it makes no sense whatsover going after 6' 175 kids in "hopes" of turning around the program... Maybe ask him to walk on as a preferred walk on but offering a full ride scholarship makes no sense to me...
And I am sure Utah did not give this guy a sniff or the time of day...
Please take off your blue goggles... This kid may be an American Fork all star but I cannot see contributing to BYU football in the near future.....
It is sad to see how far the expectations for BYU football have plummetted under the Sitake era....
