It's the % applied equally that is the point of contention. Is it fair that
money due the USMNT players get shared with USWNT players? Now, the men get 9% of the money paid out to the federation by FIFA for participating in the world cup. The women get 13%, a higher percentage. Now, I think that means that 9% is from the total disbursement to the US from FIFA, but I'm not sure. So I assume that the remaining 91% goes to like general USSF purposes. If so then that 91% might be applied in a revenue sharing scheme. BUT, all this means that resources are diverted from mens/boys development. There needs to be more revenue for the men, not less.

Again, this an issue of market realities, not discrimination.
