I know him well too. Your cousin was my wife’s best friend growing up.
I’ve been in Jed’s home a number of times. He can be way over the top in his Ute-ness, but he is pretty respectful to my wife and I whenever we’re around them. Rarely spouts any Ute trash, and I’ve even heard him try to be conciliatory by speaking well of both teams.
Yeah, this comment is way over the top, but overall I’ve not known him to be a jerk. As a real life Ute, he’s not a bad guy. Really.
