Are you kidding me? Not even close to a fair comparison. An MLM is specifically DESIGNED so that you won't make money

unless you recruit others who recruit others etc. THAT is why people say they are going to retire in their 20s. It is with the intent of giving an illusion of success in order to recruit to possibly be successful. That is one of the disgusting things about MLMs, namely the incentivised dishonestly about how successful someone is so that they can recruit others. All the while KNOWING that the math alone will show that the majority of people in an MLM CAN'T be making money.

That isn't even close to someone taking a risk in legitimate business venture.
