There are MLM's that have no chance at success and there are MLM's that have some chance of success. Is it really any different than say, the stock market? or universities? or Insurance companies? There are tons of things in this life where you lose money because you were suckered into thinking it would help. An investment is always there whether it's good or bad. You really saying that the recruiting aspect of an MLM is what makes it horrible? Sounds like a start up company trying to get investors. Case in point, it seems that's how companies start.
