The business of an MLM is recruiting. That is the difference. You don't make money in an MLM selling a product or

providing a service. So when someone in an mlm lies to you about how successful they are it is especially slimy since their business model garrantees that the more people get involved, the more people will actually LOSE money. It's inherent in their pyramid scheme design.
