There are some statistics that are favorable to Utah in this regard
Since the inception of the CFP, Utah has spent more weeks ranked than any other team in the PAC12. In other words, it’s not like their only accomplishment was a single Pac12 south championship. When you take into account their recruiting limitations, it tells you that Whit is a pretty dang good coach.
