They did win the south and they nearly won the championship against Washington.
They were extremely close to the Rose Bowl. They’re the new kids on the block still and they are now considered to be at the top of their league. It’s impressive what they’ve done. They’ve proved they belong and are worthy of respect.
I know it’s cool for us to pretend they are the joke we all remember from the 80s but they are for real now. We might as well admit it and it will make the times we are able to beat them even better. I wish, just like everyone else, that Utah was still terrible. It’s just not the way things really are now.
