Southam is a good kicker.......
I'd say BYU is pretty stacked if Jake is better than him. Plus, they have Ryan Rehkow I think back from a mission now who I think is slated as a punter but he is a guy that could easily kick in college too...big leg.
I'd look at him simply because...why not....and who knows if a guy like Southam is going to hang around as a backup for 3 years....but I get it if they don't care to look. They are trying to build depth at multiple positions....so even a walkon slot....is a slot that you could've used on a different position that you think is weaker.
