This is different then a Matt Gay situation though.
In Matt Gay’s case, we really needed a quality kicker then, so his timing was perfect - we just missed the boat on that one! We really could have used him that year.
This is a different situation because we are stacked at kicker. Good kickers. Not just this year but for the foreseeable future. They can’t give up any more roster spots to kickers, nor would they want to because of the talent we currently have.
