No... stereotypes are NOT always bad, yet they are still stereotypes
If I see a black lady with a fro style haircut my stereotype is that she probably sings pretty well...
If I see a dude who is clearly gay my stereotype of him is that he is probably extremely clean and likely smells of good cologne
If I see a “granola” type lady I’ll bet she is extremely friendly and easy to make small talk with
If you think you you don’t have your own stereotypes you are fooling yourself
We make all sorts of decisions based on experiences of our lives, yes many are based on “stereotypes” we would be stupid and irresponsible not too.
The key here is remembering that stereotypes do not match everyone and when the time comes treat people with respect and kindness.
