Do you believe what Lincoln did was right or wrong? Because that's what this really boils down to. He's a good president if he did the right thing and a bad one if he did the wrong thing.

If you could "do over history" would you have let the South leave the union? Even with the incredible hindsight of 150+ years, what, specifically, would you have done so differently?
